Introduction

A scheduled follow up inspection was conducted to assess compliance with the Community Care and Assisted Living Act (CCALA), the Child Care Licensing Regulations (CCLR) and the relevant Director of Licensing Standards of Practice (DLSP).
A risk screening was completed prior to inspection due to Covid-19 pandemic.
Areas of non-compliance identified at the last routine inspection were reviewed today.
Licensee provided a corrective action to Licensing and the following contraventions have been addressed:
11230 - Licensee had provided a health and safety plan around supervision of hot water usage to Licensing

Observed Violations
No violations were found during the inspection.
Comments

Summary of Inspection

At this inspection dated May 7th 2020 there were 3 children and 2 staff present. The Licensee contact/Manager was also on site.

The following discussion took place:
- Hygiene practices currently reflect the guidelines provided by the Provincial Health Officer
- Practice has changed to limit outside contacts in order to mitigate risk of Covid-19 spread
- Outdoor play is extended to assist with social distancing and the health of the children.
The following resources were provided:
- Covid-19 resource package
- How to wash hands posters x 2
Visit the CCFL website at www.fraserhealth.ca/childcare for additional resources, and links to the Legislation (CCALA and CCLR).

The report contents were reviewed with the Licensee contact/Manager and the report written offsite, therefore no signatures attached.
Report was emailed to the Licensee contact/Manager.
