While on site, Licensing reviewed recent additions of screen and active play policies which are now provided to parents.
On review of policies, recommendations were given by Licensing to accurately reflect facility operation in terms of some of the procedures listed.
Licensing also provided a copy of the Licensee's current criminal record check clearance as Licensee did not have one on site. Discussed the requirement to ensure all persons over the age of 12 residing in the home have a current clearance on site.
Licensing also reviewed the Licensee staff file and notes that the ECE certificate is due for renewal in November 2018. Licensee stated that she is applying to the Registry this week. If the renewal is not received prior to expiry, an exemption will be required. (Licensing will email application form) |
