Equipment/utensils/food contact surfaces not properly washed and sanitized [s. 17(2)]
Observation: Dishwasher has a strong sulphur smell at beginning of run.
Dish water at end of cycle does not appear to have much soap suds.
No chlorine at end of final rinse cycle - 0ppm measured.
Operator says dishwasher not working has been on-going issue and has consulted with contractor.
Correction: Use regular bleach available for sanitizing using the 3 compartment sink method OR use single use dishes.
Test strips are available in the facility - ensure sanitizer measures 100ppm for sanitizing dishes.
Call your dishwasher contractor: ensure dishwasher is fixed as soon as possible.
Ensure to do regular water testing for your well as per your Drinking Water Officer.

-Chlorine tests between 50-100ppm both in the tank water and at the plate surface.
-Some soap suds appear in the tank.
