Follow up inspection. 1. (211) A new bottle of high level disinfectant has been purchased with a Feb 2024 expiry date - good. Nail implements are being fully immersed in disinfectant for 20 minutes (then rinse and dry). *** Metal foot files need to be fully immersed in disinfectant as well. Provide another container with lid to do this. 2. (220) Absorbent items are being discarded after each use. Drawer container items for nail services has been re-organized. Wooden sticks used for nails are to be thrown out after use as well. 3. (319) Tweezers for waxing have been cleaned and are disinfected after use. 4. (331) Waxing room has been cleaned. 5. (851) Eyelash extensions - Room has been cleaned. Glue label information has been provided. Eyelash extensions are not being provided now. Health approval for eyelash extensions is required before you can provide this service. Submit the following: 1. Copies of your training certificate(s). 2. Infection Control Plan that shows all items used for eyelash extensions and if they are single use or if not, how you are cleaning and disinfecting them. 3. Information on how you will keep items used for eyelash extensions separate from waxing items. Note that the counter around the hand sink is narrow and should not be used for storing eyelashes and other items. Contact Fraser Health for an inspection once the above 1-3 have been submitted. Another inspection will be required. Copy of this report will be emailed to operator.
