hot water tank not in good working order and no hot water available from hand washing sinks and three compartment sink. Using a a sink in a different area to provide hot water for manual dishwashing and hand washing

Observation (CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION): Observed mice droppings under frappucino machine. Supervisor reported that opening and closing cleaning is performed daily. Either cleaning is not perfomed properly or currect pest activity is present
Corrective Action(s): Required operator to clean and sanitize all food contact surfaces with QUAT sanitizer. Also required operator to have cleaning schedule made to ensure that staff are cleaning and sanitizing all areas thoroughly and properly everyday.

Observation: Observed accumulation of food and spill from drink dispensing machine; especially around the area where droppings were found
Corrective Action(s): Required operator clean and sanitize all areas to remove food source for pests

308 - Equipment/utensils/food contact surfaces are not in good working order [s. 16(b)]
Observation: Hot water tank responsible for hand washing sinks and three compartment sink is not in good working order. Broken part is order and waiting for repair. Tim hortons is currently using hot water from a different sink where hot water is available for manual dishwashing and hand washing
Corrective Action(s): Required operator to call for emergency service immediately to repair the hot water tank as soon as possible. If not repaired until required date, premises may be ordered to close until repair is completed.
