Observation (CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION): Did not detect any sanitizer in spray bottle labelled 'bleach and water'. Operator added more bleach at time of inspection.
Corrective Action(s): Ensure chlorine sanitizer is maintained at 100ppm.

Comments

- Premises makes dim sum and sells it frozen. Some items are raw (ie dumplings) and some are steamed (buns). No ready to eat foods for immediate consumption noted on site. Operator to email regarding nature of business to confirm if premises requires food permit. No seating noted for customers.
- All coolers less than 4C. Freezer in use -18C to -21C. Note: some freezers turned off and not in use.
- All hand wash stations were fully equipped with soap, paper towel, hot and cold running water.
- General sanitation satisfactory.
- No obvious sign of pest activity noted at time of inspection. Screen was in place over open back door at time of inspection.
- Manual ware washing procedures reviewed at time of inspection – no concerns. Drain plugs available.
- Meat slicer, grinder and dough mixer equipment all appeared to be clean at time of inspection.
- All stored foods appeared protected (ie. stored off the ground, covered, lights in food preparation areas had covers..etc)
