Introduction

A scheduled follow up inspection was conducted to assess compliance with the Community Care and Assisted Living Act (CCALA), the Child Care Licensing Regulations (CCLR) and the relevant Director of Licensing Standards of Practice (DLSP). Areas of non-compliance identified at the last routine inspection were reviewed today. Licensee provided a corrective action to Licensing and the following contraventions have been addressed: 10070 – All staff certificates are appropriately posted 11010 – All areas of concern for health and safety have been corrected 19090 – A system is in place to ensure accurate recording of children’s attendance A current staffing exemption approval is in place until April 30th 2020

No violations were found during the inspection.

Comments

Summary of Inspection At this inspection dated April 20th 2020 there were 10 children in care throughout the 3 programs and 4 staff present. The Manager was also on site to assist Licensing. The following was discussed: - Current hygiene practices in response to Covid-19 pandemic - Social distancing strategies - Current staffing and enrolment of children in emergency response to pandemic The following resources were provided: - Covid-19 package Visit the CCFL website at www.fraserhealth.ca/childcare for additional resources, and links to the Legislation (CCALA and CCLR). The contents of this report were reviewed with the Licensee/Manager and the report was written off site and emailed to the Licensee/Manager. If you have any concerns or further questions regarding the content of this report, please contact your Licensing Officer.
