Observation (CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION): 1.Large box of thawing meat stored at room temp under kitchen handsink. Operator says meats was delivered frozen today. Meat nearly completely thawed
2. Frozen meat in cold water in compartment of prep sink
Corrective Action(s): 1. Ensure all potentially hazardous foods once received from supplier are put away immediately. Do not leave delivered food on floor of kitchen while on break.
2. Ensure all frozen food thawed in water is thawed under cold running water.

Observation: Cold water faucet handle/ knob in steam cooking area has broken off and is replaced with a clamp wrench.
Corrective Action(s): Ensure all faucets are functioning properly which means all parts are present. Repair broken knob.
Correction date: 2 weeks

Follow-up inspection to report #ZDER-B5KV6W
-Significant improvement in cleaning noted through out kitchen, especially handles, doors, vents
-Cardboard storage containers have been replaced by re-usable hard plastic containers
-Sanitizer bucket noted with 100 ppm chlorine and wiping cloths.
*Ensure this sanitizer is replenished every 4 hours or when it becomes dirty
*Ensure all wiping cloths end up back in sanitizer solution and not left on counter top soiled and dry.
-Improvements in covering stored food containers - more work can be done. Cover all food once placed in storage cooler or shelf to protect it from contamination.
-No signs of pest activity noted during inspection - pest control report received
* follow pest control technician recommendations - they note a pest entry point on the report. Ensure this entry point is sealed.
* continue to send monthly pest control reports to Fraser Health

Note:
Crab enclosure noted very dirty/cloudy water. Slight improvement from last inspection. Recommend additional cleaning schedule or frequency.
