Observation: Several containers and boxes of food observed stored on the floor in the walk in cooler. Light cover missing for the light fixture inside the walk in cooler.
Corrective Action(s): Store all food products at least 6" off the floor. Install a light cover for the light fixture in the walk in cooler. Ensure all food is protected from contamination at all times. Correct immediately.

Observation: Grease accumulations observed on the exhaust canopy.

Routine inspection:

Hand delivered outstanding permit fee letter. Cheque #2286 in the sum of $150 made to Fraser Health received.

Note: operator aware of issue with the sanitizer feed line to the low temperature dishwasher. Staff trained to manually add chlorine at the start of the cycle to achieve 50ppm chlorine during the final rinse cycle. Adequate supply of chlorine test strips available for use. Inform your district environmental health officer when the replacement dishwasher (used, new, leased, etc) is installed.

Hand sink provided with liquid soap and paper towels.
Bleach sanitizer solution available for use. Reminder to store all wiping cloths in this solution when not in use.
Walk in cooler at 2 degrees C.
Preparation cooler inserts at or below 4 degrees C. Lower section at 2-3 degrees C.
Burger patty cooked to over 74 degrees C for 15 seconds.
Hot holding above 60 degrees C.
