Observation (CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION): Soup reheating in the soup well was at 53C (triple inserts) and the soup well water was at 71C.
Corrective Action(s): Potentially hazardous foods must be reheated to 74C within 2 hours (as stated in the Quizno's Operation Guide), followed by hot holding at 60C. Foods in multiple inserts will not properly heat up, due to too much insulation. Soup was reheated to greater than 74C in the microwave at the time of inspection.

Observation: Neither of the two staff present in the facility had their valid FoodSafe Level 1 or equivalent training.
Corrective Action(s): In the absence of the operator, at least one person in the facility must have their valid FoodSafe Level 1 or equivalent training. Either staff schedules must be rearranged to ensure at least one FoodSafe Level 1 staff member is present at all hours of operation, or additional staff must complete FoodSafe Level 1 or equivalent training.

Comments

-Both prep coolers were at 4C (top and bottom).
-Dessert cooler was at 3C.
-Walk-in freezer was at -18C.
*Temperature records have not been properly completed for April 4 - 8, 2019.
-Cleaning and sanitizing carried out in 3-compartment sink. Sink plugs available and Quats sanitizer dispenser tested at 200ppm.
-Handwash station accessible and supplied with hot and cold running water, liquid hand soap, and single use paper towels.
-Quats sanitizer spray bottle was tested at 200ppm.
-Deli slicer was disassembled for cleaning and sanitizing.
-Vegetable slicers clean and sanitary.
-Foods stored off the ground and covered.
-General sanitation good at the time of inspection.
-No signs of pests noted at the time of inspection.
-Washroom clean and well maintained.
