HAZARD RATING FOR YOUR FACILITY: Low (≤15) Total Score = 9
Critical Hazards: There are no critical hazards.
Non-Critical Hazards: Total Number: 1
308 - Equipment/utensils/food contact surfaces are not in good working order [s. 16(b)]
Observation:
1) Staff washroom faucet has no running hot water. Hand sinks require running hot and cold water to exit the faucet in order to wash hands properly after using the toilet.
2) The 3-comp. sink faucet is constantly dripping. The presence of dripping and/or polling water will attract and harbor pests.
3) The door gaskets/seals for the u/c cooler doors on the pizza assembly units were broken and/or cracked. This may allow cold air to leak out and cause the compressors to run constantly.
4) The walk-in-cooler has missing floor tiles in an area, this has exposed unsealed cement. Unsealed cement will absorb food & water, and attract pests.
Corrective Action(s):
1) Call a plumber to make repairs so running hot water exits the faucet in the staff washroom.
**Correction date: Sept. 14/17**
2) Repair or replace the 3-comp. sink faucet so it doesn't drip water.
**Correction date: Sept. 14/17**
3) Purchase and install new door gaskets to ensure cooler doors are sealed and do not allow cold air to leak out.
**Correction date: Apr. 1/18**
4) Install new floor tiles and seal so the floor is durable, smooth, level, sealed, and cleanable.
**Correction date: Apr. 1/18**
Violation Score: 9
