Introduction

A scheduled routine inspection was conducted to assess compliance with the Community Care and Assisted Living Act (CCALA), the Child Care Licensing Regulations (CCLR) and the relevant Director of Licensing Standards of Practice (DLSP). A Covid-19 risk screening assessment was completed with the facility prior to conducting this inspection.

Observed Violations

No violations were found during the inspection.

Comments

At the inspection dated July 22, 2020 there were 4 children and one staff present. At this inspection no contraventions were identified. As part of this Routine Inspection a Facility Risk Assessment Tool is completed and a copy is provided. The following resources were provided and discussed during this inspection. • Resource Package For Child Care Facilities for COVID-19 Prevention At the time of this inspection, systems were in place to promote health and hygiene practices and to enhance cleaning and disinfecting practices. Worksafe Covid-19 Safety Plan (pandemic plan) has been developed and is posted at the facility. A reminder to inquire as to when the fire extinguisher(s) were last serviced as at the time of this inspection, a date tag was not found. A PDF copy of this report is provided by email to the Licensee. As such, this report was not signed by the Licensee.
