302 - Equipment/utensils/food contact surfaces not properly washed and sanitized [s. 17(2)]
Observation (CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION): During time of inspection, the following was observed:
1. Conveyor dishwasher was not dispensing any sanitizer
Operator called service tech during time of inspection, service tech also spoke to Environmental Health Officer
Service tech arrived during time of inspection
2. No chlorine sanitizer solution was available for sanitizing food contact surfaces
Staff corrected during time of inspection
Corrective Action(s): 1. This dishwasher must be serviced so that adequate sanitizer is being dispensed (at least 50ppm) at the place
- In the mean time, high temperature dishwasher in the bar area can be used
- No major food preparation today, only onion peeling and cleaning
- Call Environmental Health Officer when dishwasher is repaired/ serviced
2. Adequate supply of chlorine sanitizer must be available at all times
Chlorine solution must be available at 100ppm with cloths stored within during food preparation and service

401 - Adequate handwashing stations not available for employees [s. 21(4)]
Observation (CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION): During time of inspection, the following was observed:
1. Paper towels lacking at handwashing station in second bar in facility
2. Paper towels were not available in dispenser in kitchen facility
Staff corrected during time of inspection
Corrective Action(s): - All handwashing stations must be equipped with hot/cold running water, liquid soap and paper towels at ALL times
- Adequate handwashing stations must be provided for facilitate proper handwashing

209 - Food not protected from contamination [s. 12(a)]
Observation (CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION): During time of inspection, staff on-site was peeling onions on floor of facility.
Milk crate containing peeled onions moved and stacked on top of another milk crate to ensure that it was at least 6" off the floor
Staff corrected during time of inspection.
Corrective Action(s): No food products can be stored directly on the floor!
All foods must be kept / displayed at least 6" off the floor at all times
Correction date: immediately

304 - Premises not free of pests [s. 26(a)]
Observation: During time of inspection, the following was observed:
1. accumulation of rodent droppings were found in corners of furnace room
2. slight accumulation of droppings were found against the wall underneath were large pots were stored
- No food contact surfaces affected
- Staff was cleaning during time of inspection
Corrective Action(s): - Facility must be cleaned on a frequent/ daily basis
- Droppings must be removed and areas sanitized.
- Ensure to follow recommendations from Pest Control Operator

Observation: Entry points were observed in furnace room and behind large black bins
Corrective Action(s): Ensure these entry points are plugged and sealed (can be with steel wool) to prevent entry of pests and rodents

Observation: During time of inspection, spillage/ debris accumulation along wall surfaces in facility
Corrective Action(s): - All surfaces in facility must be kept in good sanitary condition
- Ensure these walls are scrubbed down/ cleaned and maintained frequently
Correction date: 3 days

308 - Equipment/utensils/food contact surfaces are not in good working order [s. 16(b)]
Observation: During time of inspection, the following was observed
1. Wall surfaces were damaged with holes in dry wall
2. Caulking along sink no longer in tact/ handwashing sink not entirely stable
Corrective Action(s): Ensure that the above noted are addressed and repaired.
1. Scrub, clean, wipe down walls surfaces with cleaner then bleach solution
2. Ensure all equipment is fixed to remain stable and re-caulk any junctions with silicon that are no longer attached

Comments

Routine inspection conducted.
- All temperature meet health requirements:
* Walk-in cooler at 4C
* Upright freezer at -18C
- Pest control in place, monthly contract

Bar areas:
- New high temperature glasswasher available during time of inspection at bar, adequate sanitization temperature reached via hot water (77.7C)

Note:
- New metal flashing installed on wall of dishpit to prevent mold/mildew growth from water splashing - good.
