Hot water tank has been replaced with a new unit (Oct 27, 2018).
Hot water tap is at 46C and dishwasher is still working, measured at 74.9C at plate level.
Cleaning of the soda pop shelving and back area has improved, as well as staff washroom.
Light has been replaced in walk-in freezer.
New glue traps replaced and back door is closed at time of inspection.
Discussed increasing the cleaning of walls and floors to remove moisture and food debris to prevent fruit fly harbourage.
Ensure after applying bleach sanitizer to let the surface dry completely before placing clean equipment back.
Recommend adding more fruit fly trap around dishpit area. Clean under potato peeler machine nightly and remove moisture.
Sept and Oct pest control reports reviewed.
Owner and a few kitchen staffs shall be registering Foodsafe level 1 class. Please e-mail me certificates when class is completed.

*Owner mentioned that renovation is planned in a few months, including replacing red tiles, carpet and walls in dining area. A professional clean has also been scheduled.
If you plan to make structural changes to the kitchen, ensure to obtain Health Approval first. No concerns with above renovation plan.
Please ensure to communicate to all staffs to conduct a deep clean to deal with the fruit fly problem.
