Observation (CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION): Rodent droppings observed underneath the shleving unit and on the corner near the first back door and behind the chest freezer in the dry storage room.
Corrective Action(s): Clean and sanitize the aormentioned area. Daily cleaning must be conducted behind the equipment.

306 - Food premises not maintained in a sanitary condition [s. 17(1)]
Observation (CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION): Flour observed underneath shelving units in the dry storage area. THIS IS A REPEAT VIOLATION.
Corrective Action(s): Clean and sanitize the aformentioned area. All equipment must be pulled out so that thorough cleaning can be conducted. Daily cleaning underneath hard to reach area must be conducted.

307 - Equipment/utensils/food contact surfaces are not of suitable design/material [s. 16; s. 19]
Observation: Half of kitchen floor observed to be laided with concrete while the other half observed to be orginal tile. Concrete side observed to be not smooth. Operator informed that owner patch half because it was partly cracking. PICTURES TAKEN.
Corrective Action(s): Remove concrete to ensure the whole kitchen floor is non-porous, smooth, and easily cleanable or lay the whole kitchen floor with sealed concrete that is non-porous, smooth and easily cleanable. Corrected by: October 1, 2023.

Follow-up Inspection Conducted for report#JCHY-CR3RSH.
The following violations in report#JCHY-CR3RSH are corrected:
-Chlorine sanitizer buckets for the kitchen and spray bottle for the front measured at 200ppm.
-Handwashing sink well equipped with hot and cold running water, liquid soap, paper towels.
-Exposed lettuce stored in crates in the stand-up cooler not in direct contact to cooler surface.
-No single-use scoops observed to be inside dry storage area. Operator informed that staff will bring scoops to dish pit after use so no scoops will be stored inside dry storage containers.
-Shelving units in the dry storage area observed to be sealed.
-Exhaust hood vent observed to be in sanitary condition.
-Underneath the cookline in satisfactory condition.
