Observation (CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION): 100 PPM QUAT detected in the santizer container in the main kitchen area.
Corrective Action(s): **Issue corrected at the time of inspection** Staff changed out all the sanitizer containers during the inspection. 400 PPM QUAT was detected in the newly prepared sanitizer containers.
Please ensure the sanitizer containers are changed out often as per your Sanitation Plan or when noted overly soiled so that they have the the optimal concentration for sanitizing food contact items when used.

Observation: Paper towel dispenser in the staff washroom was not working properly.
Corrective Action(s): Fix the paper towel dispenser so that it can properly dispensed paper towel. Fixing the dispenser avoids any staff potentially not drying their hands properly with the paper towel after handwashing.
As per staff, they open the front cover of the dispenser to access paper towel and paper towel was noted available in the dispenser at the time of inspection.

502 - In operator’s absence, no staff on duty has FOODSAFE Level 1 or equivalent [s. 10(2)]
Observation: Supervisor onsite was unable to provide proof that FOODSAFE level 1 or equivalent was completed. At time time of inspection, operator was not onsite and no other staff has a valid certification.
Corrective Action(s): Email of the inspector was given to the staff during the inspection, email the inspector a copy of the current staff onsite during inspection, their FOODSAFE level 1 or equivalent certificate.

Routine inspection conducted today:
Handwash stations accessible, equipped with hot and cold running water, liquid soap and paper towel.
All refrigeration units were at 4.0C or lower.
All freezer units were at -18.0C or lower.
Hot hold units were holding food at above 60.0C.
Food contact utensils and equipment were noted sanitary and in good condition.
Drain plugs available for the 3-compartment sink for manual warewashing.
General sanitation satisfactory.
No signs of pest activities noted during the inspection.
