Observation (CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION): One of the prep reach-in coolers (closest to drive-thru window) was noted with an air temperature of 15.6C. Cold potentially hazardous items were measured at around 11.0C.
Corrective Action(s): Cold potentially hazardous food stored within this refrigeration unit (4 x 237 mL milk and 10 x individual apple juice and orange juice) were discarded during the inspection.
There were some cold potentially hazardous food on the top cold rail that were measured over 4.0C. The top rail was not overfilled and not much ingredients were left in each containers due to the lunch rush. As per Manager, food was brought to this refrigeration unit at around 10:30 AM. Told Manager to discard any leftover food in the top cold rail before 2:30 PM - Manager agrees. Reviewed the temperature log for this unit for this morning and yesterday, no issues were noted when the temperatures were taken during those times.

Corrective Action(s): Do not store any cold potentially hazardous food in this cooler unit after 2:30 PM today, any food remaining in this cooler after this time is discarded.
Manager is to monitor this unit's temperature. If it is able to maintain at 4.0C or below then you may resume using this refrigerator unit as normal. If not, call unit in for servicing.

Routine inspection conducted today:
Handwash stations, including staff washroom, were accessible, equipped with hot and cold running water, liquid soap and paper towel.
All refrigeration units (except for one unit) were at 4.0C or below.
All freezer units were at -18.0C or below.
Hot food were being held at over 60.0C.
Food stored protected and off the floor.
QUAT sanitizer containers available in the prep area. 3 containers tested and noted with 400 PPM QUAT.
Low temperature dish machine was detected with 100 PPM chlorine residual.
No signs of pest activities noted during the inspection.
Overall sanitation and organization acceptable.
Manager has a valid FOODSAFE level 1 equivalent certificate (expires Nov 26, 2025).
