306 - Food premises not maintained in a sanitary condition [s. 17(1)] Observation: A) Napkin holders at tables dirty inside. Some mouldy. B) Ice cream bin freezer very frosted and debris noted accumulating in the frost. Could contaminate the food. C) glasses for shakes and beverages kept directly on bus trays - must ensure trays are cleaned daily or have a plastic/rubber washable matting placed between glasses and tray. Paper towels or cloths not acceptable. Corrective Action(s): Set rotation for cleaning the napkin holders as part of ongoing cleaning schedule. Have all cleaned within two weeks. Will review at next routine inspection. Purchase washable beverage mats or make sure trays are cleaned and sanitized daily. Violation Score: 3

Facility is old and floors deteriorating in areas, but overall cleaned fairly well. Make sure to keep organized and shelves/storage areas free of unused equipment items. Remove broken or unused equipment from premises (i.e. fridges, coolers, freezers etc.) Cooling units less than 4C. freezers below -18 C. dishwasher low temp measured 75 ppm chlorine solution. **make sure all handsinks supplied with liquid soap and paper towels.
