Observation: Small amounts of mildew is observed in large ice machine in the back.
Corrective Action(s): Please clean and sanitize the ice machine by follow up inspection.

306 - Food premises not maintained in a sanitary condition [s. 17(1)]
Observation: Food debris and moisture noted in several areas including flooring under counter of beverage handoff area, floor drain, under small ice bin, under espresso machines, under office desk and under two compartment sinks. Some newspapers, cardboards and a wet cardboard were piled in the corner of entrance to the back.
Corrective Action(s): Please conduct a deep clean of all flooring areas to remove food debris, water and any syrup substances to deter pest harbourage. Organize the shelving space and remove any clutter. Remember to wipe dry the moisture around rings of water dispensers in the front as well.

Observation: Duct tape being used to seal gap at beverage hand off counter in the corner.
Corrective Action(s): Pleaes remove duct tape as the material is not suitable for cleaning. Use a proper adhesive such as sealant to close the gaps.

311 - Premises not maintained as per approved plans [s. 6(1)(b)]
Observation: Several structural deficiencies noted: missing baseboards behind large ice machine in the back, by entrance to back room, under syrup cabinets, and a missing laminant flooring under prep cooler in the front. Faucet in middle handwashing station is loose as shown to staff.
Corrective Action(s): Please replace all baseboards and flooring so that all surfaces can be properly cleaned and sanitized. Tighten the faucet.

*Please retain service report for review. Traps were placed for cockroach activity although there is no apparent signs noted today.
