Observation: (Repeated violation) Upper compartment of the ice machine has accumulation of mould and mildew like deposits
Correction: Discard ice and clean and sanitize the ice machine according to the manufacturer's direction.
Correct this by: immediately.

Follow-up Inspection Conducted

Observations:
- Ice machine observed cleaned and sanitized. Operator mentioned that the company will also be contacted to come in and change the filter on the ice machine.
- A new sticky fly trap is observed in the kitchen to help with the house fly problem (few flies observed on trap). Operator mentioned that they may install a new screen door at the back door of the restaurant to prevent flies from entering. Two UV fly traps also observed placed in the kitchen.

NOTE: as per the routine inspection report, the operator must contact the pest control company to assess the situation and follow any of their recommendations. Ensure a copy of the assessment report is emailed to the health inspector

- Handwashing stations near the dishwasher and in dim sum station observed unobstructed, supplied with liquid soap, paper towel, hot and cold running water
- Bleach sanitizer spray bottles observed labelled and measured at 200 ppm with test strip
- FOODSAFE Level 1 equivalent (Serving it Right) training verified during time of inspection

Follow-up inspection to be conducted on September 12, 2021. No signature required due to COVID-19 pandemic. Inspection report will be emailed to the operator.
