Observation (CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION): Grease noted on pots in storage in the back area.
Corrective Action(s): Cleaned during the inspection. Ensure that all pots/pans/utensils that are placed in storage are clean.

Observation: a) A deep fryer was installed at the back of the restaurant. This is not allowed since there is no ventilation at the back area.
b) There was a charcoal barbecue outside the back door. Staff noted that this is being used for the kebabs. Since this is not a food preparation area, no foods can be cooked outside.
Corrective Action(s): a and b) Remove today.

Comments

-Complaint inspection: complaint discussed with the owner on site. Details are on file.
-Owner has purchased a ventilation hood for the front area and will have it installed this month. Ensure that proper approvals are received from the City and the Fire Department as well. Ensure that updated floor plans are submitted to reflect the installation of the ventilation hood prior to installation.
-Ensure that a screen is installed on the back door.

All coolers were < 4 C.
Hot holding was > 60 C.
Bleach available for use.
Hand sinks supplied with hot and cold water, soap and paper towels.
Pest proof containers available onsite.
