Comments

Routine inspection conducted at food facility. The facility was maintained in good sanitary condition.

The following observations were made during the inspection:

Temperature:
- Store walk-in cooler at 3C.
- Store walk-in freezer at -20C
- Undercounter cooler at 2C.
- Sandwich prep cooler between 3-5C.
- Soups hot held at 68C.
- Meatballs at 77C.
- Stand-up reach in pop cooler at 3C.
- Temperature logs were maintained and found up-to-date.

Hygiene and Sanitizing:
- Hand wash station was adequately stocked with hot/cold running water, liquid soap, and single-use paper towels in front service area.
- Sanitizer spray bottle & pail available and the concentration of QUATS noted at 200ppm.
- Sanitizer dispenser releases 200 ppm QUATS at 3-compartment sink.
- Utensils and tongs were found in sanitary condition.
- Staff washroom maintained in good sanitary condition with supply of hot/cold running water, liquid soap and single-use paper towels.
- Sanitizer logs were maintained and found up-to-date.

Storage:
- All food items were stored at least 6" off the floor.
- All products were either in original packaging or covered.
- Storage area was well-organized.
- Chemicals and cleaners were stored separate from food preparation areas.

Pest Management:
- No visible signs of pest activity observed at the time of inspection.

Administrative:
- Operating permit was posted in a conspicuous location.
- Operator has valid FoodSafe Level 1 certificate.
