Introduction

A scheduled routine inspection was conducted to assess compliance with the Community Care and Assisted Living Act (CCALA), the Child Care Licensing Regulations (CCLR) and the relevant Director of Licensing Standards of Practice (DLSP). A COVID-19 Prescreening was completed with the Manager prior to the inspection.

Observed Violations
No violations were found during the inspection.

Comments

At the inspection dated March 30 2021 there was 5 children and 1 staff present. At this inspection no contraventions were identified. Action required by the Licensee is indicated in this report. As part of the Routine inspection, a Facility Risk Assessment Tool was completed.
Emergency\Disaster Plan
As discussed, any heavier items stored on higher shelving in areas that children access should be relocated and\or as system put in place to minimize risk of items falling. For example, during an earthquake.

The report findings were reviewed at the time of this inspection. A copy of the inspection report and facility risk assessment were emailed (PDF) to the facility on March 31, 2021.
Time spent includes writing of report off-site. As the reports were written off-site and sent by email, no signature was obtained.
