Introduction

Licensing was on site for an unscheduled follow up inspection to the routine inspection dated January 11th 2021. Licensing was on site to assess compliance with the Community Care and Assisted Living Act (CCALA's) and Child Care Licensing Regulations (CCLR's).
On site today was the Licensee contact/Manager and appropriate staffing for the programs operating.
Contraventions

Current Inspection - Items reviewed comply with the Act, regulations & standards of practice.
Observed Violations
No violations were found during the inspection.
Comments

The Licensee contact/Manager had responded to the previously cited contraventions by email and the following have been addressed:
11010 - The carpet in the GCC(SA) program has been replaced with a vinyl flooring
- The ripped sleeping mats have been replaced but please watch out for wear and tear of these replacements
- The staff purses are now inaccessible to children
11160 - The whole boundary fence has been replaced with PVC panels all round and any gaps at the bottom have been filled with railway ties.
12040 - CRC's are available now for the 2 staff and were reviewed on the Licensee contacts/Manager phone. Please ensure that a copy is placed into the staff files.
12070 - All 3 staff now have current first aid certification. All staff members are certified in first aid.
12090 - All staff now have immunization status on file.
12140 - The staff validation is now in place
12200 - The emergency drill was practiced and a change in the supplies transportation has been adapted to streamline the process.
13080 - Prepayment contracts have now been created and the Licensee contact/Manager has a checklist of all those who have been renewed and awaiting renewal.
19220 - Care plans now provide accurate and updated information.

There are no outstanding contraventions and no concerns.
The contents of this report were shared with the Licensee contact/Manager prior to the report being written off site due to Covid-19 prevention strategies.
