Observed Violations
STAFFING: 12040 - CCLR s.19(1)(a) - A licensee must not employ a person in a community care facility unless the licensee or, in the case of a person who is not the manager, the manager has first met with the person and obtained all of the following: (a) a criminal record check for the person.
Observation: Staff employed at the facility to have site specific CRC Clearance in place.
Corrective Action(s): Licensee has taken steps to apply for the required CRC, results not yet obtained. While waiting for results, please provide your staffing plan to ensure children are cared for at all times by a screened individual.

Comments

Licensee has addressed the contraventions noted within the Routine Inspection report with exception to the above as documented.
Areas within the yard have been made inaccessible by installing lattice material at the sides of the shed and in front of the wood pile.
Staff files now contain Immunization Status and ECE validation.
All items identified as potentially hazardous if accessed by children have been suitably addressed.
Covid Audit completed - Low Risk of transmission. A copy is provided by email along with this report therefore a signature is not obtained.
