Observation: Operator did not have her FOODSAFE Level 1/equivalent course certificate at the time of inspection. She did not appear under the FOOSAFE Level 1 registry.
Corrective Action(s): Ensure the Operator and at least one staff member on duty in the absence of the Operator holds valid FOODSAFE Level 1/equivalent course training; Provide an update to the Environmental Health Officer within 2 months.

Comments

Both handsinks were supplied with liquid soap, hot and cold running water, and single-use paper towels.
Upright 2-door cooler, upright single-door cooler, and beverage cooler were at 4 degrees C or less.
Refrigeration units were equipped with thermometers.
Cupcakes in the front service area were stored behind a sneeze-guard.
Ice cream freezer was empty and not in use at the time of inspection.
3-compartment sink was supplied with hot and cold running water, and it was equipped with sink plugs. Only single-service utensils are used.
Ware-washing was not occurring at the time of inspection. Manual wash, rinse, sanitize, and air dry method was reviewed.
200 ppm chlorine sanitizer was available in a sanitizer pail.
Pest control program was in place on a weekly basis via Terminix (Mall). Pest control service report from today indicated no activity.
No signs of pest activity were evident at the time of inspection.
Stand mixer was in a clean condition.
Storage cabinets were in a clean condition.
Dry goods were stored in sealed pest proof containers. Scoops were stored in a manner to prevent the handle from contacting the food ingredients.
