Observation (CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION): [REPEAT VIOLATION] Meat slicer observed with food debris on the blade. Staff began cleaning and sanitizing the slicer during inspection.
Corrective Action(s): Do not store equipment which is contaminated with food debris. All equipment must be cleaned and sanitized after each use to prevent bacterial growth and/or toxin production and to prevent contamination of food.

304 - Premises not free of pests [s. 26(a)]
Observation: [REPEAT VIOLATION] Rodent droppings observed in the back storage area on top of boxes and behind wire shelving units. Droppings are also observed under the manual warewashing sink and near the ice machine. Mechanical traps are observed in place.
Corrective Action(s): Clean rodent droppings and sanitize aforementioned areas using appropriate PPE and bleach sanitizer by mixing 1 part bleach with 9 parts water. Do not vacuum or sweep droppings. Monitor rodent activity and if droppings are sighted, contact pest control company to assess and apply treatment as necessary. Ensure to repair problem areas/holes identified by the pest control company immediately to prevent future rodent harbouring/breeding/nesting on site. Submit all future pest reports to the health inspector for review via email until the next routine inspection.
