Observation (CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION): Ice machine not maintained in sanitary condition - mildew/mould growth present on condenser panel.
Corrective Action(s): Empty ice bin, then clean and sanitize all parts of the interior of ice machine. Ensure to clean and sanitize ice machine on a regular basis to prevent growth. Staff began cleaning ice machine at time of inspection.

302 - Equipment/utensils/food contact surfaces not properly washed and sanitized [s. 17(2)]
Observation (CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION): Bleach available on-site however no ready to use sanitizer solution was available for use.
Corrective Action(s): Sanitizer solution must be available for use during all hours of operation. In a spray bottle, mix 1 tsp bleach with 1 litre of water for proper concentrations. Also recommend storing wiping cloths in a bucket of bleach solution in between uses.

Comments

*Minor accumulation of food debris present under cooking equipment and in hard to reach areas (ie, under refrigerators and shelving units). Ensure to clean and sanitize these areas on a weekly basis at a minimum.
- Hand sinks supplied with hot and cold running water, liquid soap, and paper towels
- Dishwasher had 100 ppm chlorine detected at dish surface level after final rinse
- All coolers were at or below 4C
- All freezer temperatures were satisfactory
- No food items were being hot held at time of inspection
- Food storage practices good - all food stored off the ground and covered
- General sanitation satisfactory
- No signs of pest activity noted at time of inspection
