Observation: Mouse droppings found behind beverage cooler, behind dough mixer and under the wire rack beside the beverage cooler.
Corrective Action(s): Clean up all droppings and sanitize the floor. Premise is serviced by a pest control company every 3-4 weeks according to operator. Glue boards and snap traps in are use. Mouse droppings were not found anywhere else in the premise.

Observation: Cracked bus pans found in storage area above 3-compartment sink.
Corrective Action(s): Damaged utensils and equipment shall be discarded because they cannot be properly cleaned and sanitized.

Comments

General observations:
Coolers were 4 degrees Celsius or less.
Freezer was less than -18 degrees Celsius.
Food storage practices are good.
Organization of storage areas is satisfactory.
Food handler hygiene appeared satisfactory.
Hand sinks stocked with liquid soap and paper towels.
All sinks equipped with hot and cold running water.
General sanitation is satisfactory.
Quats sanitizer (spray bottles) was 200ppm.

Note:
Small preparation cooler is still out of order as noted in previous inspection report. Cold holding storage space appears adequate at this time. Several floor tiles in the food preparation area are missing due to damage and are covered with large plastic floor mats. Operator states the store is due renovations and floor plans are in the development process by Panago head office. Advised operator to ensure floor plans are submitted to Fraser Health for review and approval prior to commencing renovations.
