Code 303 noted on Routine inspection # RHEN-CLEUXW of Nov-22-2022 Equipment/facilities/hot & cold water for sanitary maintenance not adequate [s. 17(3); s. 4(1)(f)] Observation: Observed water discharging from drip pan of hot water tank into floor drain. Overflowing onto floor. No hot water available at taps. Correction: Premises must be closed unitl such time the hot water can be restored to facility. Clean up any build up of water on the floor in storage area. Fix hot water tank. Call or email when fixed. Code 302 noted on Routine inspection # 255750 of Feb-08-2022 Equipment/utensils/food contact surfaces not properly washed and sanitized [s. 17(2)] Observation: Quats solution and main feed 0-100ppm. Correction: Verify - Date to be corrected: Feb 15/22

Comments

New hot water tank installed. and working. Sanitizer solution in small insert for milk frother and coffee area clean up measured below 150 ppm quats. Should be between 200 and 400 ppm. Small volume of water likely eating up available sanitizer pretty quickly. Cooling units less than 4 C. Freezers in back at or below -18 C. Gelato at - 13 C. Dishwasher at 79 C at plate. **Set interval for change to hourly or more given the size of container and usage. Mark/label with dry erase the expired time or refilled time on side of container as reminder. Some equipment being moved to new location in Langley. Will free up space. Things look good.
