Observation: Fruit flies activity is intermediate as they are noted in the back kitchen, office and hallway area where pop is stored. Some activity noted in the server station, none in the draft beer/soup well area.
Corrective Action(s): Please refer to comments on code 306. 2017 pest control reports available at time of inspection, please provide reports from August to October 2018 for review.

Observation: Back door was open at time of inspection.
Corrective Action(s): Please close door after use to prevent pest entry.

Observation: Cleaning is required under deep fryers, hallway to the back where pop is stored, office and staff washroom. Food build up on ledge of reach in cooler noted.
Corrective Action(s): Please do a deep clean (e.g. move all equipment and clean underneath, wipe all cupboards and shelving units, walls with 100ppm bleach sanitizer) to remove any food debris or water. This will deter pest harbourage.

Observation: Light in the walk-in freezer is very dim.
Corrective Action(s): Please replace the lighting so it is adequate for the walk-in freezer.

Observation: No Foodsafe certified staff at time of inspection.
Corrective Action(s): Please send more staffs to train Foodsafe Level 1 and schedule staffs so that there is at least 1 Foodsafe trained staff working at each shift. There is a 5 year expiry date now, please refer to www.foodsafe.ca for more information.
