- General sanitation was satisfactory. Ensure hard to reach areas (ie. floor under equipment) are being cleaned thoroughly to remove any items which have fallen/dropped.
- Handsink supplied with hot and cold water, liquid soap and paper towel.
- Coolers were operating at acceptable temperatures (4C or colder)
- 2 door stainless unit 3C
- Single door under counter sandwich cooler 4C
- 2 door undercounter barista cooler 3C
- Single door under counter smoothie cooler 2
- Display cooler 4C
- Thermometers present for monitoring
- Freezer was at -22C
- High temperature dishwasher functional and met sanitizing temperature required. Final rinse was 75.9C at dish surface
- Quats sanitizer present in bucket and in containers at espresso machine for use with wiping cloths. Concentration measured 200ppm. Staff were in the process of replenishing sanitizer at the time of the inspection. *Ensure existing solution is dumped prior to adding new solution.
- Interior of ice machine appears clean/maintained.
- Manager present and has completed National Food Safety Training Program (equivalent to Foodsafe level 1)
- No signs of pest activity noted. Pest control contract in place with monthly service. Viewed most recent report. Follow all recommendations of Pest Control Technician.
