Equipment/utensils/food contact surfaces not properly washed and sanitized [s. 17(2)]
Observation: Hand blender stored with food debris.
Knives stored with metal wire fragments on blade and on magnetic knife strip.
Utensil storage bin has food debris on utensils and storage bin.
Correction: All food equipment, food utensils and food contact surfaces must be cleaned of all debris, then sanitized after use. Food equipment, utensils and work surfaces in constant use for the same purpose must be cleaned and sanitized a minimum of every 4 hours or when changing uses.

Food equipment, food utensils and clean in place food contact surfaces must be manually cleaned and sanitized following the 4 step method;
1)clean surface of debris using warm water and detergent,
2)rinse surface with warm water,
3)immerse for 2 minutes in sanitizer 200 ppm quaternary ammonia,
4)allow surface of item to air dry before next use.

Hand blender stored in a sanitary condition.

Utensils / storage bin stored in a sanitary condition.

Wire fragments not observed on knives, or magnetic strip.

Floor has been cleaned.

Floor tiles have been effectively re-grouted, allowing for an easily cleaned floor. Note: Avoid cleaning methods that will damage or remove grout prematurely such as power washing.

Correction Order complied with and now rescinded.

COVID-19 Safety Plan in place including handwashing, mask use protocols and frequently scheduled disinfection of high touch surfaces.
