Observation:
- Pink film observed in the ice machine. This is biofilm.
Corrective Action(s):
- Clean and sanitize the ice machine after turning it off and emptying all ice out.

Observation (CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION):
- Staff stated that a cleaner in a bottle is used for sanitizing. No chlorine was detected from the solution in a bucket with wiping rags.
Corrective Action(s):
- Ensure to have bleach sanitizer available at all times during operation. 100ppm bleach sanitizer solution was made in the bucket by the staff at the time of inspection.

Observation:
- No hot water dispensing at the handsink due to broken tap knob.
- Liquid soap dispenser is empty at the time of inspection.
Corrective Action(s):
- Ensure handsink can provide hot & cold water in adequate flow/pressure.
- Staff refilled the soap at the time of inspection.

Observation:
- Cluttered entrance to the bar area. Unopened bags of sugar and potato starch on floor. Empty boxes on floor.
- Garbage, dust, batter powders observed around the mixer, underneath the ice machine and by the right corner floor next to the ice machine.
- Debris build up observed on the perimeter of the floor at the bar.
Corrective Action(s):
- Clean and organize the bar entrance area. Do not place ingredients directly on floor. Remove garbages from the premises.
- Clean the floor. Cleaning should be done regularly to prevent build up.

Observation:
- Observed uneven caulking all around the handsink and the prep sink. Mouldy black stains observed underneath the caulking.
Corrective Action(s):
- Remove the caulking and mould stains. Refinish the counter surface to be smooth and impervious. Redo the caulking around the perimeters of the sinks.

- Ensure to have at least one staff on duty to hold this credential. If this violation is observed again in the future, staff will be asked to register for foodsafe course.
