Observation: Paper towel in dispenser is placed away from handwashing station at bar, again. Staff indicated it's not been told to change otherwise.
Corrective Action(s): Paper towel must be placed where handwashing station is.
This has been observed in two consecutive routine inspection reports.

306 - Food premises not maintained in a sanitary condition [s. 17(1)]
Observation: Grease and debris still observed in some areas written in last report:
-->area next to carbon dioxide tanks
-->prep tables outside walk-in cooler (appears to be cleaned but can be cleaner)
-->bottom compartment of deep fryers (heavy grease observed)
-->area near the wine kegs at the bar
Corrective Action(s): Clean the above mentioned areas.

Comments

The following items have been observed:
-->Handoap in dispensers are available throughout facility
-->No open bags of dry goods observed
-->Scoops for dry goods are placed in proper position with handles facing up
-->Floor next to undercounter dishwasher has been cleaned
-->Area near slow cooker and storage shelves is in sanitary condition
-->Less water obsered leaking from slow cooker/steamer

Note:
1. Reminder handwashing station is for handwashing only and must not be used for other purposes (ie. rinsing, dumping, etc.).
2. Reminder beverage toppings such as sliced lemon, sliced limes etc are potentially hazardous foods and must be kept cold at 4oC or less.
