Disinfection:
- High Level Disinfection: (Nippers/cutters, etc.)
- All implements are to be washed (scrubbed with soap and water) prior to disinfection.
- PREempt CS-20 utilized for high level disinfection!
* Follow manufacturers directions! (Note: "undiluted" and contact times)
* Expiration dates are required to be monitored. See Violation Notes.
- Footbaths: Single use liners used for each tub.
- Intermediate Level Disinfection:

- ie: Footbaths are to be cleaned routinely. Fill and drain basins. Chlorine utilized for Foot Baths. (Follow guideline for dilution: 1 part bleach to 49 parts water/20 ml chlorine per 980 ml of water.)

- Sanitary Facilities: Refer to Violation Notes.
- Sanitation: Work stations are to be cleaned routinely. Stained sheets/towels are recommended to be removed.
- Hygiene: Ensure hands are washed prior to treatments. (clients/service providers.) Nails are to be examined for infection prior to service.
- Single use items utilized. (nail files, tongue depressors, etc) DO NOT REUSE ITEMS!! Items are to be kept organized.
- Laundry services on site. Ensure all items (towels/linen) are washed after each client. Recommend hot water wash and hot dry cycle. Bed liners aare to be changed after each client and not reused.
- Air quality discussed. (Acrylic vs Gel)
