Non-Critical Hazards: Total Number: 1
304 - Premises not free of pests [s. 26(a)]
Observation: Two fruit flies observed in the area by the 3-compartment sink.
Old mouse droppings found on shelving unit by back door.
Corrective Action(s): 1. Have your pest control company place a fruit fly trap in the area of the 3-compartment sink. Fruit fly traps are in use in other areas of the premise and appear to be effective at catching and controlling flies. Discussed with manager that fly traps could be used year round given certain areas of the premise are prone to be warm and moist (i.e. near sinks and areas around bins for coffee grounds.

Date to be corrected: 1 month.

2. Clean up mouse droppings and sanitize the shelving unit with quats sanitizer. Discard any paper products damaged or contaminated by mice. Droppings were not observed any where else in the premise. Premise is serviced once per month by a licensed pest control company. Discussed with manager to ensure pest control work reports are retained for information.

Date to corrected: today.
