Observation (CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION):
Staff observed wearing disposable gloves and washing the gloves with soap (while wearing them). Disposable gloves are required to be removed and thrown away when they become dirty, as they are made of low grade plastic that can NOT handle exposure to chemicals and soap.
Corrective Action(s):
Inform staff that disposable gloves MUST be taken off and thrown away when they get dirty or staff change tasks. Staff MUST wash their hands and put on new gloves. If it is seen that staff do NOT follow these procedures, disposable gloves will NOT be allowed to be used in the premises.

Comments

A routine inspection was conducted, the following observations were made:
- Coolers 4C; freezers -12C; hot holding units above 60C; thermometers present; and temperatures not checked or recorded.
- High temperature dishwasher had rinse cycle of 73.1C at the plate's surface as per max/min thermometer.
- Hand sink not blocked and had running hot and cold water, liquid soap and paper towel.
- All foods stored in food grade containers; covered; stored in groups with raw proteins on lower shelves below RTE foods; and 6" off the floor on shelves.
- General sanitation is good. No signs of pests.
- FoodSafe certified staff present.
- No expired foods in use or for sale. FIFO rules followed.
