Observation: The daycare is still receiving food items prepared at Kids&Company located at 202-9900 King George Boulevard. The condition of the original approval of the kitchen was that the food items can be prepared at Kids&Company located at 202-9900 King George Boulevard only if the total combined number of children at the two daycares does not exceed 60 children per day. According to the most recent number of registered children, the combined children at the two daycares exceed 60 children per day.
Corrective Action(s): - Hire a chef at this daycare and prepare own meals in this kitchen for its registered children or
- Designate another commercial kitchen to prepare all meals for both the daycares and deliver the meals to the daycares. Neither of the kitchens are adequate to prepare greater than 60 children per day.

- General sanitation is good.
- All handwashing stations supplied with hot/cold running water, soap, and paper towels.
- All coolers (upright) at < or = 4C.
- All freezers (upright) at < or = -18C.
- All refrigeration units are equipped with working thermometers.
- High temperature dishwasher achieved 71C at the plate's level during the final rinse cycle.
- Surface sanitizer available in spray bottles at 100ppm chlorine solution. Ensure to provide surface sanitizers at each station (ie serving area, main prep area) and use clean wiping cloths. Change out the sanitizer solution every day.
- Dry storage area has sufficient space and racks.
- No signs of pest activity at the time of the inspection.
- FOODSAFE certified staff on duty.
Note: This daycare receives meals from another kitchen. Hot food items are hot held in the oven at > 60C. Temperature checks are done when receiving food items with a stem thermometer.
