Observation (CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION): Observed pink biofilm growth along the top part of the interior of the ice machine.
Corrective Action(s): Staff stopped the ice machine at the time of inspection. Empty the ice machine, clean and sanitize thoroughly. Ensure to monitor the ice machine on a regular basis for maintenence and cleaning.

Comments

- Handsinks are maintained with hot & cold running water, liquid soap and paper towels.
- 100ppm chlorine available in sanitizer buckets with cloths.
- Sanitizer buckets are changed every 3 hours. *Ensure to increase frequency of change of sanitizer if the water is heavily soiled.
- Spoons for stirring syrup/milk are put on ice. Noted that ice has melted at the time of inspection. *Ensure to change the ice as needed.
- Temperatures of all refrigeration units meet regulatory requirements (<4C coolers, <-18C freezers).
- Temperature log is in place .
- Time stamp system is in place.
- Hot holding foods- patties probed & measured >60C.
- 200ppm QUAT available at the 3 compartment sink for warewashing.
- No signs of pest activity at the time of inspection.
- Ice cream machine is deep-cleaned biweekly.
- Deep-cleaning of the facility is done weekly *Cleaning is required under large equipment in the front area.
