PHYSICAL FACILITY, EQUIPMENT AND FURNISHINGS: 11160 - CCLR s.16(3)(a) - A licensee must ensure that the entire outdoor play area is (a) enclosed in a manner that is suitable for the age and development of children, and will ensure that children are free of harm.
Observation: Observed the following in the outdoor area:
- Brambles in the play area which the Licensee said they have cleared a lot of.
Licensee also said that dog feaces are cleared when the group goes outside and the gate is placed on the stairs.
Corrective Action(s): Please ensure a safe outdoor play area at all times - provide a corrective action plan to Licensing

POLICIES AND PROCEDURES: 13050 - CCLR s.56(1)(c) - A licensee must keep current records of each of the following: (c) a record respecting compliance with section 22 (2) (b) and (c) [emergency training and equipment].
Observation: Fire drills were not recorded for November, December and January. Licensee said that they were practiced and are done so around the 15th of every month. Records support that.
Corrective Action(s): Licensee will ensure that records are maintained going forward

RECORDS AND REPORTING: 19090 - CCLR s.57(2)(c) - A licensee must keep, for each child, a record showing the following information: (c) daily attendance record, indicating for each day whether the child is absent or, if the child is present, the time of arrival and departure.
Observation: Attendance records were not accurate today - only four of seven children signed in
Corrective Action(s): Licensee will ensure accuracy of records on each child's arrival.
