Observation (CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION): The following observations were made:

1. Ice scoop was found betwen trays on top of the ice machine.
2. External areas of equipment need to be cleaned and sanitized.

This can lead to cross contamination and potentially lead to the contamination of food.
Corrective Action(s): 1. Ensure to store the scoop on a tray that can be easily cleaned and sanitized as needed. This was corrected during time of inspection, employee removed ice scoop. Ice scoop is being cleaned and sanitized and will be stored in a container/tray that can be cleaned and sanitized.
2. Ensure to routinely clean the outside of the equipment( for example the dishwasher, coolers, ice machine etc)

Comments

Routine inspection.
Operating permit is posted in a location visible to the public.
Handwashing stations are all equipped with hot/cold running water, liquid soap and paper towels. All dispensers are permanently mounted adjecent to handwash stations.
Walkin cooler at 4c. Insert coolers at 4c and equipped with thermometers.
Freezers at -18c or below.
Whipping cream for coffee/desserts found on ice.
Hot holding at 88c.
Temperature logs are available.
All foods found located off the floor thoroughout facility.
Quat sanitizer found at 200ppm concentration in buckets. Rags are being stored in sanitizer buckets.
Dishwasher reached 50ppm concentration for rinse cycle at dish level.

Employees observed to have good personal hygiene and wearing proper protective equipment (ie. uniforms)
Ice machines are in sanitary condition.
(see above noted violation for ice scoop storage)
Ventilation hoods were last cleaned in December and are in clean sanitary condition.
Overall sanitation throughout facility is satifactory.

No signs of pest activity found during time of inspection.
Pest control inspections are conducted by Ecolab.
