-Inspection conducted in response to a change in directorship of the corporate ownership (Latino Deli Ltd.):
-Fee category has changed from FE1 (food service establishment) to FS (food store), as operator indicates that they will no longer be preparing or repackaging potentially-hazardous foods for sale/distribution to the public
-Packaging/repackaging of non-potentially-hazardous foods may be performed on-site, as long as the process of repackaging does not result in the risk of a health hazard occurring
*Ensure all repackaged food products are labelled in compliance with federal labelling standards (see Canadian Food Inspection Agency food labelling standards for more info)
-Whole produce (fruits & vegetables) may also be sold on-site.
-Hand-washing basins are stocked with hot/cold water, soap, and single-use towels
-Refrigeration temperatures are ≤4o Celsius
-Freezer temperatures are satisfactory
-Chlorine food-contact surface sanitizer solution available at ≥100ppm concentration
