Code 401 noted on Routine inspection # CHAS-BKVT74 of Jan-16-2020 Adequate handwashing stations not available for employees [s. 21(4)] Observation: Cold water tap is not working. Dirty pots are cluttering up the only handsink in the kitchen. Correction: Repair tap. Keep handsink free of clutter.

Critical item #401 has been corrected. The following corrective actions required in the previous inspection report have been implemented: - Kitchen has been cleaned. - Missing taps has been installed at the three compartment sinks. Soup and paper towel in dispensers are available. - Cold water tap at the kitchen handsink has been repaired. - One of the wooden shelving unit in the cooler has been painted. Rusted shelf has been removed. - Newspaper and cardboard liners for shelves have been removed. - Milk crates has been removed. Clean under the new wooden platform under the sacks of potatoes daily. Items that has yet to be corrected: - Replace the wooden shelving unit with wire rack units. Paint the other wooden one. - Replace the broken floor tiles. - Provide a smooth and washable surface for the bottom portion of the wall next to the large food prep sink. - Paint the walls in a light color (white or off-white). Please post the signs after the walls have been painted. Please check temperature daily and record on the log sheet provided.
