Follow-up to inspection report #NTRG-B9YSM9:
Code 304: Corrected. Invoices from pest control services provided, Jan 27/2019 and Feb 27/2019. Report from January indicated 2 mice caught in interior of building. Manager indicated pest control contract in place for biweekly services.
Code 305: 1. All items must be on shelves at least 6" off the floor. Some items still found on pallets on the floor. Move them to proper shelving.
2. Manager placed a weather stripping of the vertical edge of door, but the air gap is still visible (not a tight fit). Air gap on door to be fixed. New weather stripping purchased. (Correction date: March 12, 2019)
Code 306:
The following item not cleaned:
-wooden shelving unit beside the fridge.
-all the shelves in the cabinets in the kitchen must be cleaned (remove cardboard liner inside cabinet on the right, discussed with staff not to use cardboard lining.)
-Floor areas noted required deep cleaning (dry foods storage room, the floor behind the freezers, under all the shelving units).

Code 307: Materials made of raw wood mentioned in report to be painted. (Correction date extended to March 15, 2019)
Code 308: Plans for reconstruction of kitchen was provided. Ensure to submit construction plans to the health authority for approval. Check with the city to ensure construction is approved. Report to the health department once the plans for reconstruction is confirmed (eg. the date etc.). (Correction date: TBD)
**The shelter cook is Foodsafe Level 1 certified, expires July 29, 2018. Ensure to refresher course before certificate expires.
**The entire basement is unfinished (eg. drywall, raw wood etc.) that must be addressed for the future. |
