Code 301 noted on Routine inspection # AKWN-BQQTLH of Jun-19-2020 Equipment/utensils/food contact surfaces not maintained in sanitary condition [s. 17(1)] Observation: Door handles on all coolers and freezers were found to be filthy with grime. Correction: High touch areas such as door handles must be clean regularly to prevent build up of filth and prevent cross contamination. Clean and sanitize all door handles for the coolers and freezers. Date to be corrected: June 19, 2020

Comments

Door handles were kept clean. Mouse droppings were not observed at time of inspection. There were no accumulation of old/dirty cardboard boxes at the back. Operator is in compliance with the single-service utensil restriction on permit. Operator was given another reminder to turn on the exhaust hood when donair machines are in use. At time of inspection operator turned on exhaust hood when inspection was announced despite donair machines had been in operation prior to site visit.
