Introduction

An unscheduled routine inspection was conducted to assess compliance with the Community Care and Assisted Living Act (CCALA), the Child Care Licensing Regulations (CCLR) and the relevant Director of Licensing Standards of Practice (DLSP). All care categories were inspected for compliance.

Current Inspection - Items reviewed comply with the Act, regulations & standards of practice.

Observed Violations
No violations were found during the inspection.

Comments

At the inspection dated Sept. 9, 2021, there were no children and 2 staff and the manager were present. Staff were about to pick up the children from school.

At this inspection no contraventions were identified.

As part of this Routine Inspection a Facility Risk Assessment Tool is completed and a copy is provided.

A COVID-19 Risk Screening was also completed.

The following education, recommendations and discussion were provided:
- Continue increased indoor ventilation
- Continue to clean and sanitize the facility including toys and equipment
- Continue to follow the COVID-19 Policy
- Having physical copies of required documents for each staff's file available on-site, which the manager agreed to complete. Currently, staff information are documented on a chart.
