Observation: Permit to operate was not available at the time of inspection. A "Health Operating Permit Replacement" form was provided to the Manager in case they are unable to locate the permit to operate. Note: An ownership change has not occurred according to the Manager.
Corrective Action(s): Ensure the permit to operate is posted in a conspicuous location where the public may view it; Correct within 1 month. Update the district Environmental Health Officer of Fraser Health regarding the status of the permit to operate (if the permit was located or if a replacement permit has been ordered).

Comments

Handsinks were supplied with liquid soap, hot and cold running water, and paper towels were available at the handsinks.
Coolers were at or below 4 degrees C / 40 degrees F.
Freezers were at or below -18 degrees C / 0 degrees F.
Refrigeration units were equipped with thermometers.
Temperature records were being maintained.
200 ppm QUATS sanitizer was available from the dispenser and bucket with wiping cloths.
No signs of recent pest activity were observed at the time of inspection.
Ice machine was in a clean condition.
In-use utensils ("small-wares") are washed, rinsed, sanitized, and air dried every 2 hours and timers were in effect.
Manager on-site was certified in the National Food Safety Training Program (Valid until 6/1/2022).
