Observation (CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION): 1. Virgin Flaxseed Oil First Cold Pressed stored at room temperature - storage instructions state 'keep refrigerated' and product has a best before date of December 13,2020.
2. Dented soya chaap can.
Corrective Action(s): 1. Operator was instructed to remove product from shelf and either discard or return to supplier.
Follow storage instructions and best before dates provided on product label.
2. Discard dented cans.

Observation (CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION): Scoops used for bulk dispensing.
Corrective Action(s): Do not use scoops or utensils or provide bulk dispensing as the establishment does not have the equipment (sinks) to properly wash and sanitize scoops or bins. Scoops were removed from the floor.

Observation: Gur, dal chini (cinnamon), ginger powder and turmeric stored in bulk bins for self-service. Scoops not protected from contamination. Box of gur stored directly on the floor.
Corrective Action(s): Self-service is not allowed as the establishment does not have means to properly wash and sanitize scoops. Do not store food on the floor - all food must be six inches off the floor. Remove all scoops and open food items from the retail area. Empty out the bins used for bulk dispensing.

Observation: Floors are visibly dirty. Spills not cleaned up immediately.
Corrective Action(s): Ensure all spills are cleaned up immediately (ex. package of black sesame seeds). Deep cleaning of floors required.
General organization of establishment required - keep personal belongings, tools/equipment for maintenance and cleaning away from food products. Correct by October 17, 2023.
