502 - In operator’s absence, no staff on duty has FOODSAFE Level 1 or equivalent [s. 10(2)] Observation (CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION): At time of inspection, manager on duty was not able to produce copy of FoodSafe certificate to verify that they have successfully passed the course. As discussed, there must always be at least one FoodSafe certified staff member during each shift when the kitchen is in operation. Corrective Action(s): Spoke to owner over the phone. Ensure not to fill the inserts to the top.
